(Lunia Szulc)
Zygmunt was her twin brother. Both of them were handicapped, as their spines were deformed. She was called Lunia by her family. Her neighbors called her "Panienka" (Maiden), as she never married. She was very well educated and even attended to a school in Brest, France. After her father's death in 1918, she inherited a 68 hectare (170 acres) farm in Marcinow near Biala Podlaska, Poland. She was well regarded by the people who knew her as she offered help to anyone who asked. She was a local nurse administering injections and other procedures. She donated land for a local school in Marcinow (named after her father, Marcin). The dates of her birth and death were copied from the monument on the cemetery in Biala Podlaska, Poland.
