(Aleksander Antoni Szulc)
Together with his father he owned a large manorial farm ("folwark") and a brewery in Lyniew near Wisznice, Poland. This brewery was destroyed in the 1930s due to arson. Several monuments of the Szulc family are in the cemetery in Wisznice, Poland. According to neighbors in Lyniew, he had two more daughters with his second wife: Stefania Kurowska nee Szulc and Danuta Lutomska, nee Szulc. It is said that he also had an illegitimate son. As his second wife was a 36 years old widow, it is possible that she had children from her first marriage and that Aleksander adopted them changing their surname to Szulc. | ||||
