Since 1989 lived in Atlanta, Georgia, USA moving to Parrish in Florida in 2021. Worked for 24 years at the Centers for Disease Control specializing in molecular reference diagnosis of parasitic diseases. Retired in 2013. Hobbies: computers, travel, classical music (loves operas), culture, music, and cuisine of Spain, gardening, history, and politics.  Is fluent in Polish, English, Spanish, and Russian, in addition to basic knowledge of German, and French.
