Adam was the first from the Pieniazek family who left Gorzno near Garwolin. He purchased a piece of land left after clear-cutting a forest with stumps left in the ground. This was in Slup on the road from Gorzno to Parysow, about 13 kilometers (8.1 miles) north of Gorzno and 3 kilometers (about 1.9 miles) south of Parysow. Together with his wife Helena, son Jozef, and seven daughters (the oldest Agata was married in Gorzno in 1889) they removed the stumps and operated a farm until Jozef purchased land in Swoboda near Siennica, about 18 kilometers (11.3 miles) north of Parysow. | ||
